A unique opportunity for developers

Only a select few partners received the initial release of the Mojo SDK. Now we’re expanding access to it, which could mean access for you. If you’re interested in participating, complete the application at the link below. Not everyone will receive the Mojo SDK right away. But when you do, you’ll see how easy it is to develop for the Palm webOS™ platform.

First chapter of "Palm webOS: Developing Applications in JavaScript Using the Palm Mojo Framework" now available

The first chapter of the official resource for programming the new webOS platform is now available. The book was written by Palm Vice President and Software Chief Technology Officer Mitch Allen along with members of the webOS development team and is being edited and distributed by O'Reilly Media.

O'Reilly also hosted a webcast with Mitch Allen on February 25 that offered developers a preview of the webOS platform and development environment. View the webcast.

Palm webOS, Mojo Application Framework, and Mojo SDK

Palm webOS, the next generation operating system from Palm, integrates the power of a window-based operating system with the simplicity of a browser. The user experience is designed around multitasking, and makes it easy to run background applications, switch between applications in a single step, and handle interruptions and events without losing context. Using webOS, you'll be able to develop fast (and beautiful) applications.
