I really like these. Hey Chuq, any of these "blessable" by Palm? I'd love to have an official standard to start promoting with.
Thank you. I have been holding off on releasing any PSD files until a palm official commented on it.
The graphic is cleaned up and I reworked it a little so the PSD is easier to edit. It actually looks a little sharper now and a bit more vivid.
So far it only contains 4 layers though I may add pre made colors and styles later. The current layers are as follow:
4. Text - "Find it" (This is a rasterized text layer to ensure the same font settings from system to system.)
3. Logo - Palm (I made the logo cutout onto the layer below it so it will match the buttons color.)
2. Button - Base (The buttons style is contained in this single layer. You can change the buttons color, gradient, drop shadow, ...ect from here.)
1. Background (You can change this to fit your website or leave it transparent if you wish.)
Here are some examples of me just applying a different gradient style while maintaing the same gradient settings. (I am a fan of B myself)
A. Radial Gradient
B. Linear Gradient
C. Reflected Gradient
Although this PSD is mostly ready I am not sure Palm would want a PSD version flying around the internet. Having the option to change the way the button looks can be fun and all but it is also important to maintain a standard look and feel.
@ DougReeder - That shouldn't be a problem.
@ WebOSdev - I look forward to hearing from you and Palm.
